Senior Planner (1058)

Role summary: As the Lead Planner, you will serve as a key partner in demand and production planning across the organization. Your role will be to analyze manufacturing capacity, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions that drive higher production efficiency, improve delivery performance, and optimize resource utilization. You will act as the analytical backbone of the planning team and contribute to strategic decision-making in the area of planning.

Your role:

• Ensure demand and production planning in line with business objectives and manufacturing capacities.
• Analyze data and identify constraints, bottlenecks, and root causes affecting production performance.
• Prepare scenarios to address production disruptions, capacity shortages, and future manufacturing growth.
• Model the impact of demand changes on capacity, inventory levels, and delivery lead times.
• Propose measures to improve productivity, production flow, and customer delivery performance.
• Support the S&OP process through analyses, reporting, and recommendations for management.
• Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Sales, and Key Account Management to resolve priorities and constraints.
• Participate in the implementation of new planning processes and the future transition to SAP IBP+.

Your Profile:

• Secondary or university education in a technical, business, economics, or logistics-related field.
• 3 years of experience in production planning or demand planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Communicative level of English proficiency, minimum B2 level.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of MRP/MPS, capacity planning, and production process optimization.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with large volumes of data.
• Ability to evaluate scenarios and make data-driven decisions.
• Self-motivated, systematic approach, and ability to collaborate effectively across the organization.

Advantageous:

• Experience with ERP/SAP systems or SAP IBP planning tools.
• Experience with APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) tools and advanced production planning.
• Experience in the precision mechanics, optics, or electrical/electronics manufacturing industry.
• Power BI knowledge; SQL proficiency.
