In order to strengthen our European Corporate Purchasing Team we are searching for Commodity Buyers with Europe-wide responsibility for direct and indirect purchasing. You will be based at and work from our site in MLADÁ BOLESLAV.
Your responsibilities
Development and implementation of purchasing strategies within area of responsibility
Conducting necessary price and contract negotiations, including individual & framework agreements
Scouting, selection and qualification of new suppliers, supplier nominations in close collaboration with our Operational Purchasing Team
Identify, negotiate and implement savings opportunities
Supplier and market observations with regard to risk management (bottlenecks, financial situations, etc.)
Support new business acquisitions
What distinguishes you
Successfully completed degree in technical or business administration
Several years of professional experience in direct or indirect purchasing in an international environment, ideally in the automotive industry with strong knowledge in the areas of cost and market analysis
Strong negotiation and communication skills
High level of commitment, hands-on mentality and ability to work under pressure as well as intercultural competence and willingness to occasional travel
Business fluent in English, good German/Polish/Czech language skills would be a plus
Proficient in SAP and MS Office
