Laboratory Project Engineer (m/ž)

Copeland Quality & R&D Lab in Mikulov, Czechia plant is looking for a colleague for the position of Project Engineer in our HVACR Laboratory. Do you like technology and innovation? Do you enjoy new product's testing? Don't hesitate to join our Laboratory Team!

The position is also suitable for university graduates.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

• Specification and design of new test equipment
• Project leadership of the delivery of new laboratory equipment for Engineering & Product Evaluation Testing
• Technical leadership of testing activities
• Knowledge of testing devices and instruments – operation, maintenance, adjustment
• Technical supervision and evaluation of testing of compressors acc. to international standards
• Assistance at accredited measurements of compressors, condensing units and heat pumps according to related standards
• Calibration test definition and evaluation (including deviations, uncertainties etc.)
• Preparation of operating instructions and manuals

Required qualifications and experience:

• Minimum: Technical secondary school (mechanical engineering or related field).
• Preferred: University degree in technical engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Communicative level of English.
• Strong command of MS Office and ability to interpret technical drawings.
• Understanding of production processes and quality control principles.
• Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset and team spirit.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

• Engineering Degree in electro or mechanical engineering with basic knowledge of Thermodynamics
• Czech electro education certificate “NV 194/2022 Sb.” is an advantage
• English language – B1
• Czech language – B2
• MS Office daily user (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Proactivity, analitycal thinking, good prioritization
