Role Overview:
For our client, an international manufacturing company operating in the automotive sector, we are currently seeking a Planning Leader to join a newly established production facility in the Central Bohemian region.
This is an excellent opportunity for a logistics or production planning professional who enjoys working with data, ERP systems, and cross-functional collaboration. The role combines production planning, master data management, inventory control, and coordination with both local and international teams.
You will play a key role in ensuring smooth production flow and logistics processes while supporting the ramp-up of a new manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain master data, including updates and system modifications
- Administer and maintain production documentation, including work and packaging instructions
- Plan production based on customer schedules and forecasts in cooperation with logistics teams
- Manage and optimize material supply processes, including Kanban and call-off systems
- Monitor inventory levels and support material availability for production orders
- Create, monitor, and close production orders within the ERP system
- Maintain packaging specifications and related master data
- Monitor warehouse transactions and resolve inventory and system discrepancies
- Support inventory processes and system preparation for stock counts
- Collaborate closely with international colleagues and corporate functions
- Contribute to process improvements and the successful launch of a new manufacturing facility
What Will You Need To Succeed:
- Secondary school or university degree in a technical, logistics, supply chain, or economics-related field
- Previous experience in production planning, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing operations
- English language skills
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to work with data and systems
- Proactive approach and willingness to learn new processes and technologies
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with various departments
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
- Experience supporting production planning and inventory management processes
- Understanding of manufacturing and logistics workflows
