Production Planner

Role Overview:

For our client, an international manufacturing company operating in the automotive sector, we are currently seeking a Planning Leader to join a newly established production facility in the Central Bohemian region.

This is an excellent opportunity for a logistics or production planning professional who enjoys working with data, ERP systems, and cross-functional collaboration. The role combines production planning, master data management, inventory control, and coordination with both local and international teams.

You will play a key role in ensuring smooth production flow and logistics processes while supporting the ramp-up of a new manufacturing operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain master data, including updates and system modifications
• Administer and maintain production documentation, including work and packaging instructions
• Plan production based on customer schedules and forecasts in cooperation with logistics teams
• Manage and optimize material supply processes, including Kanban and call-off systems
• Monitor inventory levels and support material availability for production orders
• Create, monitor, and close production orders within the ERP system
• Maintain packaging specifications and related master data
• Monitor warehouse transactions and resolve inventory and system discrepancies
• Support inventory processes and system preparation for stock counts
• Collaborate closely with international colleagues and corporate functions
• Contribute to process improvements and the successful launch of a new manufacturing facility

What Will You Need To Succeed:

• Secondary school or university degree in a technical, logistics, supply chain, or economics-related field
• Previous experience in production planning, logistics, supply chain, or manufacturing operations
• English language skills
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to work with data and systems
• Proactive approach and willingness to learn new processes and technologies
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with various departments

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
• Experience supporting production planning and inventory management processes
• Understanding of manufacturing and logistics workflows
