Cafe MOSAIC is the heartbeat of our guest experience — the first impression in morning and a welcoming stop throughout the day. We're currently looking for a hands-on, dependable team member who can also step up as a cafe supervisor, keeping things running smoothly alongside the manager and the co-workers.
This role is a hybrid one: most of your time you spend doing the everyday work of the cafe, but we expect you also to carry responsibility for how the shift flows and guest satisfaction.
What You Will Do
- Greet and serve guests at the counter and tables
- Take orders accurately and enter them into Storious
- Prepare coffee, beverages, drinks, and light food items to standard
- Clean and reset tables, counters, and equipment throughout the shift
- Restock supplies, ingredients, and service items
- Handle cash and card transactions
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards at all times
Shift leadership duties
- Open or close the cafe according to checklist procedures
- Coordinate tasks with your co-worker to keep service smooth during busy periods
- Monitor stock levels and flag reorders before items run out
- Step in on the floor wherever needed — no task is "not yours" as shift leader
- Handle minor guest concerns on the spot; escalate larger issues appropriately
- Do basic shift reporting (handover notes, incident notes)
- Ensure the cafe is guest-ready at all times — appearance, cleanliness, ambience
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, or hotel F&B role is a plus
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a two-person team
- Calm, organized, and able to prioritize during busy rushes
- Strong guest-service mindset — friendly, attentive, solutions-oriented
- Willingness to take initiative and ownership during a shift, not just follow instructions
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to have basic communication both in English and in Czech with the guests.
