🎯Who are we looking for?

We’re expanding our Finance team in Prague and are looking for an AP Accountant who wants to grow, contribute, and make an impact. This role is open to both ambitious juniors ready to start their finance career and to experienced AP specialists looking for a new challenge in an international environment.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

· have an educational background in Economics/Finance (university degree is an advantage, not a must — talent matters most!).

· understand the basics of accounting and are excited to learn and grow into a true AP professional

· are comfortable working with Excel — pivot tables and formulas won’t scare you.

· enjoy analyzing data, exploring connections, resolving discrepancies, and improving processes

· work independently, proactively, and reliably — someone your teammates can count on

· speak Hungarian and can comfortably communicate in English (written and spoken)

· have experience with Microsoft Dynamics or Pohoda (an advantage, not a must — we’ll help you get up to speed).

🛠️What will you be responsible for?

As an AP Accountant, you’ll be a key part of our Finance operations and help ensure that everything runs smoothly and accurately. Your work will have a real impact on vendor relationships, cash flow, and the overall financial health of the company.

You will:

• handle supplier invoices from A to Z — making sure everything is correct and properly approved
• collaborate with vendors and internal teams to quickly resolve any small discrepancies
• keep track of open items and support the Finance team during month-end closing
• prepare payment inputs and work closely with our skilled Treasury colleagues
• be involved in COD and intercompany activities, such as matching, reconciliations, and balance checking
• support the preparation of simple reports, data summaries, and closing documentation that help management make good decisions
