Join onsemi’s New Product Development team in Brno, Czech Republic, where we define, design, and validate cutting-edge analog-digital integrated circuits.

We are looking for a Senior Principal Analog Design Engineer. In this role, you will contribute to and oversee the development of our state-of-the-art products, starting with architecture all the way to production.

What You’ll Do

Collaborate with marketing and customers to define system-level requirements and IC specifications.
Define and oversee detailed simulations using modern EDA tools and accurate models.
Work closely with layout engineers to translate schematics into silicon.
Lead technical aspects of projects including task planning and coordination.
Write design documentation and test plans.
Support product qualification and manufacturing, including yield improvement and customer issue resolution.
Own technical outcomes of design, verification, implementation, and execution of power management ICs with complexities that can span from simple regulators to complex mixed-signal designs and control loops.
Understand project goals, create a realistic schedule and resource plan, track execution schedule to plan, monitor progress, and provide full clarity to the team on the goals and objectives.
Ensure first-pass success and timely execution using established design methodologies.

What We’re Looking For

MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
10+ years of professional experience in mixed-signal design and/or verification.
Solid understanding of circuit analysis and mixed-signal design principles.
Demonstrated technical expertise.
Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
Eligibility to work in the Czech Republic.

Preferred Skills

Experience with mixed-signal architectures, system and chip partitioning, high-performance digital and analog IP.
Advanced knowledge of semiconductor process technology and device physics.
Awareness of EMC design considerations.
