What would your job entail?
To negotiate with suppliers not managed by Global Commodity team
To participate in CQ project in leading the RFQ process (requote)
To implement the global directives & policies
To support the execution of the strategy (Logistics-Buying department)
To identify opportunities for cost saving
To create and update price lists in the ERP
Negotiates the best conditions of mechanical parts ( Metal, Plastic parts & PCBs) of local & regional commodities
Sources and evaluates suppliers based on price, quality, lead time…
Monitors supplier performances
Participates in annual negotiations
Requests quotation to Suppliers (RFQ)
Analyzes the supplier’s proposal (BoM)
Proposes optimizations (i.e.: alternate item with best conditions: price, delay, packaging…)
Suggests PPV (Purchasing Price Variance)
Is accountable for the material part valuation in the CQ
What qualifications do you need for this job?
Electronic Market knowledge
Mechanical Suppliers knowledge (Plastic & Metal)
Government regulation knowledge (incoterm, transportation, payment terms)
English: Professional
German: appreciated
MS Office (Master Excel)
PLM / Silicon Expert / ERP / RFQ Tool
