Marketing Specialist - MASTERCARD Czech Republic & Slovakia
Overview
In response to the business growth and increasing business opportunities Mastercard Czech Republic is looking for Marketing Specialist with wider responsibility in all areas of marketing.
As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping our brand’s digital presence. You’ll work closely with internal teams, agencies, and external partners to create engaging content and drive impactful campaigns across social media platforms and you will get experience to work on other interesting priceless projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative content to enhance visibility across all social media channels, in collaboration with our social media agency and performance media specialist.
- Own the planning and performance of social media posts, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and relevance to target audiences.
- Coordinate social media content across the marketing team, supporting short-term activations (e.g., music festivals, sponsorships), promotions, and integrated campaigns.
- Contribute to the development of key local brand campaigns, with a focus on social media content.
- Execute promotions and activations in partnership with various business stakeholders.
- Manage budgets for assigned projects (production and media), track performance, and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Provide direction and coordinate deliverables with key vendors, including agencies and other partners.
- Monitor and report on website performance, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Oversee the local agenda for key Priceless assets and B2B marketing initiatives.
- Lead customer and merchant marketing activities, including negotiations, implementation, and contracting.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and marketing agencies.
- Plan and execute marketing activities and events, including promotions, activations, and B2B engagements.

- Have a genuine interest in social media content development and enjoy working with a dynamic Gen Z team on the agency side. Staying on top of social media trends is second nature to you.
- Are passionate about innovation and emerging technologies especially in payments industry.
- Are eager to gain experience across various areas of marketing and expand your skill set.
- Enjoy managing projects that involve close collaboration with external partners and cross-functional marketing teams.
- Can confidently deliver presentations to senior stakeholders and clearly communicate your ideas and perspectives.
- Do not hesitate to monitor project budgets and you want to understand key cost drivers to negotiate with your suppliers.
- Are fluent in Czech (or Slovak) and English, both written and spoken.
