Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Specialist who will take responsibility for the full cycle of personnel administration, government interaction, and employee support related to foreign workers relocating to the Czech Republic. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently, familiar with Czech labor and migration regulations, and passionate about helping people integrate into a new working and living environment.
Required skills:
Practical experience with HR administration in the Czech Republic
Strong knowledge of interaction with government offices, especially Úřad práce
Working-level Czech (written and spoken) for official communication and document preparation
Experience supporting foreign employees in legal and HR processes
Ability to work independently and handle administrative tasks across multiple channels
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with agreement-based contracts (DPP, DPČ)
Understanding of labor market processes for third-country nationals
Experience with relocation, onboarding, or NGO/social support for migrants
Responsibilities:
Handle end-to-end HR administration for a small team (up to 20 employees)
Manage the onboarding process for foreign employees
Prepare, file, and track all necessary documents related to work visas, extensions, residence permits, and labor office submissions
Liaise with Czech government authorities (e.g. Úřad práce, tax office, social services, health insurance providers)
Monitor and ensure legal compliance with Czech labor and migration laws
Act as the first point of contact for employees on HR and administrative matters
Coordinate with accounting on payroll, taxes, and employment documentation
Maintain employee records and contracts
Stay informed of relevant legal updates and advise management accordingly
