This position requires strong motivation, and both sense of professionalism and sense of humor when faced with clients and staff under pressure. You will need to be able to handle constructive feedback and take creative direction. You’ll also need the ability to keep a strong sense of balance and organization when faced with daily and ongoing project deadlines since the job entails attention to multiple, and often competing priorities. You’ll need to be very comfortable with production since you’ll be responsible for proofreading, red-lines, labeling processes and graphics arts, barcodes, labels, inserts, Instructions for Use (IFUs), cartons, etc. The right person will feel that this is a highly rewarding environment.
Requirements:
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficiency in Macintosh OS/PC environments.
- Ability to lead label development activities and label project strategies by collaboration with various business units in a fast paced environment.
- Strong working knowledge of FDA, EPA and EU medical device labeling regulations.
- Outstanding organizational skills including document asset management.
- Ensure artwork is ready for press by employing pre-press procedures and best practices.
- Have proven problem-solving skills.
- Working Knowledge with the Windows Office suite tools: Excel, Word, Teams, OneDrive, and Outlook .
- Have exceptional attention to detail, strong oral and verbal communication skills, and team player.
- Possess experience in Global/International label production.
- Have command of the English language written and verbal.
- Knowledge of dynamic labeling creation with CodeSoft and NiceLabel software.
- Perform table top photo-shoots as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 5 years in processing labeling artwork for a regulated industry.
- Solid understanding of the structure and function of product labeling and packaging.
Additional Desired Skills:
- Image manipulation and rendering skills
- Familiar with Esko barcode software, PDF converters, FontAgent Pro.
- Working knowledge with Excel and its formulas.
- Familiarity with Master Control QMS system.
