Statutory Director

We are an EU-based FinTech company seeking a dedicated and ambitious individual to join our team in an administrative leadership role.

As a Director, your core objective will be to assist in the development, oversight, and maintenance of organizational activities. You will play a critical role in ensuring our operations are lawful, compliant, and aligned with the best interests of our customers.

Our company operates as a Virtual Currency Exchange Operator, authorized under EU regulations, providing cryptocurrency exchange services in a secure, efficient, and customer-friendly environment. We serve a diverse clientele, including private customers and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Statutory Director and authorized local representative of the company in Prague.
• Support the management board in governance, compliance, and operational oversight.
• Serve as the main contact for local authorities, regulators, and banking or business partners.
• Oversee and ensure regulatory compliance under applicable Czech and EU laws, especially those governing crypto-asset services.
• Review, advise on, and sign necessary statutory or regulatory filings.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination between the Czech entity and EU headquarters.
• Uphold the highest standards of corporate integrity, documentation accuracy, and confidentiality.

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of relevant background in finance, banking, fintech/IT, or other regulated financial industries.
• Prior statutory, management, or regulatory-facing roles strongly preferred.
• Able to commit part-time hours and stay responsive on short notice.
• Residency in Prague, Czech Republic (mandatory)
• Native Czech speaker with strong English proficiency (C1)
• Clean record – no conflicts of interest with direct competitors
• Willingness to undergo “fit & proper” checks (criminal record extract, insolvency/bankruptcy verification, PEP/sanctions screening)
• Availability for occasional on-site presence in Prague

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Prior experience in administrative, regulatory, or compliance roles is an advantage.
• Understanding of financial regulations and cryptocurrency operations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
