Accenture Cyber Fusion Center in Prague is a unique multidisciplined team of over 240 people passionate about Cyber Security. As part of Accenture Security, we support clients globally to prepare for and defend against the rapidly changing capabilities of cyber attackers. We are looking for security professionals to join our international team at our custom-built location.

Role Summary

As our next Security Analyst, you will operate a Threat Exposure Management program, which may involve vulnerability scans on various technologies and platforms, care for timely and accurate analysis, reporting, support technical threat and vulnerability assessments, create customized vulnerability notifications/tickets and perform other advisory tasks to our clients. Further, you will support vulnerability/asset owners or engineering teams in remediation and mitigation activities and support in processes such as false positives investigation and exceptions handling.

Requirements

We expect of you to have a genuine interest in securing our clients’ systems and networks from unauthorized attacks. More specifically, we expect:

• Practical experience with vulnerability scanning techniques and tools
• Knowledge of cyber security principles, especially regarding infrastructure, networks, cloud, application security or similar
• Good communication skills, both spoken and written English, and ability to create and deliver reports in written and verbal forms (presentations)
• Willingness to learn and improve

Nice to have skills

The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate skills in the following areas:

• Basic knowledge of Linux usage and administration, Windows OS administration
• Basic programming/scripting skills (Python, VBA, PowerShell or similar)
• Understanding of cloud security and cloud environments
• Exposure to vulnerability management platform integrations, for example with threat intel sources, unified security view solutions, ticketing systems
• At least one of the entry-level IT security certifications (e.g. CompTIA Sec+, GSEC etc.)
• Knowledge of security standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 27001, SOX, PCI, NIST etc.)
