Accounting intern

What to expect

As an accounting intern, you will become part of a team that handles the accounting of the Czech branches of international companies. You will work under the guidance of an experienced senior accountant who will walk you through everything and support you. Your main responsibility will be entering source documents into the Helios iNuvio accounting system – in particular incoming and outgoing invoices, bank statements and similar documents. Over time, you will take on responsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of the tasks entrusted to you and for providing the team with quality feedback.

What knowledge and skills you should have

· Student status (ideally in an economics or accounting field)

· Diligence, reliability and an eye for detail – the accuracy of the data you enter matters to us

· A willingness to learn quickly and to grow independently

· Time flexibility: several weeks full-time over the summer break and part-time during the semester

· Basic computer skills and familiarity with common office tools

It will be an advantage if you have

· Knowledge of accounting and hands-on experience in the field

· Experience working with data in Excel

· English at a level suitable for email communication with clients

· Experience with the Helios iNuvio accounting system
