Heimstaden is one of the leading residential housing providers in Europe. We manage over 114,000 apartments across nine countries, with a portfolio valued at more than 454 billion CZK. Our focus is clear – we invest in properties with a long-term vision and create environments where people truly feel at home. If you are looking for a place to grow and be part of something bigger, we would love to welcome you to the Heimstaden team!

About us

Heimstaden is a pan-European real estate investor, manager and operator. We manage around 155,000 homes across nine countries with a property value of around EUR 30bn. We acquire, develop, and manage properties, focusing on creating lasting value for shareholders, our tenants and the communities where our properties are located.

The team:

You will join our Shared Service Center for Recruitment, reporting to the Lead Talent Acquisition Manager. The Shared Service Center currently supports recruitment across Germany, Czechia, and our Group and Service functions in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.
As part of our wider Group People & Culture (P&C) organisation, the Recruitment team plays a key role in shaping Heimstaden's culture and success by attracting top talent and delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.

This full-time position is based in our Ostrava office with onsite presence required. While your primary focus will be recruiting for Czechia, you will also support projects in the Shared Service Center that apply for several countries. In this role, you will collaborate closely with local hiring managers and the local P&C teams to understand business needs, advise on talent strategies, and deliver successful recruitment outcomes.

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will:

  • Lead recruitment activities for Czechia from start to finish.
  • Focus on attracting new talent through active search activities on LinkedIn and Teamio, bringing a “headhunter” mentality and being motivated to fill niche and specialist positions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, providing guidance on recruitment strategies and talent market insights.
  • Partner closely with the local People & Culture team in Ostrava and other key stakeholders.
  • Manage and execute end-to-end recruitment processes, from workforce planning and sourcing to offer management and onboarding.
  • Recruit for a broad range of positions, with approximately 80% focused on corporate and specialist roles and 20% on operational roles.
  • Create engaging job advertisements and ensure effective publication across relevant channels.
  • Drive talent attraction initiatives, including employer branding and social media recruitment activities.
  • Conduct candidate interviews and assessments to ensure high-quality hiring decisions. Flexibility in time management, as some candidates might only be available for interviews early or later in the day.
  • Prepare and analyse recruitment reports, providing insights to support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate across departments and countries to share best practices and contribute to recruitment projects.
  • Work closely with our international Shared Service Recruitment Team across Northern, Central, and Western Europe.

You bring with you:

  • At least five years of experience recruiting professionals across corporate, specialist, and blue-collar roles - preferrable from an agency role, with first in-house experience
  • Active Search skills, from LinkedIn Search to candidate approach and engagement
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), job boards, sourcing tools, and social media recruitment channels. Experience with Teamio, SmartRecruiters and LinkedIn Recruiter is an advantage.
  • Fluency in Czech language (written and spoken) and professional proficiency in English.

Who You Are:

You are a proactive and results-oriented recruitment professional who thrives in a dynamic, international environment. You build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and enjoy collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
You combine strong organisational skills with a structured approach to managing multiple priorities. With a solutions-focused mindset, you are comfortable navigating challenges and identifying opportunities to improve processes and outcomes. Most importantly, you are passionate about connecting people with opportunities and contributing to business success through great hiring decisions.

What We Offer:
