Software Development Engineer in Test (Networking & Linux)

The Automation team in Ubiquiti Pilsen office is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) colleague with a strong background in networking and QA automation. This role involves developing and maintaining end-to-end automated tests for our networking devices, contributing to the robustness and reliability of our products. We are looking for a proactive team player with a solid understanding of computer networks and a passion for automation and quality assurance.

Candidates should be prepared to work from our Pilsen office with the possibility to work occasionally from home after onboarding.

Key Responsibilities:
*Day-to-day work with various kind of Network type devices
*Create, maintain and execute automated test scripts
*Design and implement network scenarios in our test framework
*Automation of the testing process

Must have:
*Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols (L2/L3 network protocols, 802.1Q,…)
*Knowledge of QA (automated / manual) workflow
*Knowledge in programming languages commonly used for test automation
*Attitude: "What can be automated - should be automated"
*Fluent in English and Czech
*Willingness to learn new things on a regular basis

Nice to have:
*Knowledge of Linux / Unix
*Experience in unit / integration testing
*Experience with network device testing and familiarity with related hardware
*Experience with PHP or similar language
*System Administration
*DevOps (CI/CD setup & administration, Terraform scripts)
