Accounts Payable Accountant
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will become a trusted member of the finance function, supporting the Finance Lead in building a high-performing team and maintaining a strong control and compliance environment. You will also contribute to finance innovation initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Order to Procure (OTP) / Accounts Payable function. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day accounts payable activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
- Maintaining and controlling accounts payable records in line with company standards and policies
- Supporting the efficient operation of the OTP function, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements
- Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders such as Finance, HR, Supply Management, Commercial, and Operations teams
- Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives and finance-related projects
- Contributing to team development through active participation in finance training and development programs
- Supporting ad hoc tasks and activities to ensure smooth departmental operations

- Ability to analyze large volumes of financial data and translate insights into reports and forecasts

- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn new systems
