We are looking to expand our team with a technician who will oversee various activities related to the integration and testing of battery packs for space applications.
Scope of AIT's Activities:
- Acceptance testing of electronic components (visual, electrical), including battery cells
- Mounting components onto printed circuit boards and other building blocks
- Supervising the assembly, integration, and preparation of assemblies for testing, and participating in these activities
- Soldering components
- Assembling various electrical and mechanical components
- Cleaning components
- Welding of components
- Acceptance testing of subassemblies
- Application of conformal coating
- Installation of fasteners
- Application of epoxy resin
Other activities:
- Preparation and supervision of part production on a 3D printer
- Preparation and supervision of part production for a laser cutting machine
- Other manual tasks
What knowledge and skills you should have:
- Technical education (electrical engineering / mechatronics / mechanical engineering)
- Practical experience in manufacturing or the integration of technical assemblies
- Ability to lead a small team and solve technical problems is a plus
- Experience with single-unit or small-batch production is a plus
- Manual dexterity
- Willingness to learn new things
